Ensuring safety of our parents, grandparents and our beloved seniors, in the comfort of their homes is our primary concern. We pride ourselves in understanding the unique, client and family specific requirements to ensure that all our clients get the special caregivers who will closely understand and cater to the needs of our clients. Close and frequent monitoring of our client needs helps us to remain updated with the changing needs of our seniors. To ensure that we are fulfilling all the needs of our clients, once the request for the caregiver is received, we provide:

  • Our regulated health professionals (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapists or Registered Nurses) perform in-depth, home assessments to closely and accurately understand the client needs.
  • We document the precise needs and requests of all our clients and provide them with a copy of their assessments for their future reference.
  • We hand-pick our caregivers. We provide only certified, experienced and well-trained caregivers to all our clients.
  • We ensure that all our caregivers have undergone the job duty and physical requirement testing to ensure that they are able to cope with the needs of the clients.
  • Our regulated health professional provide on-site training to our caregivers to ensure that they are well versed with the client needs and changing dynamics of their medical demands.

 

Care giver services include 

  • Activities of daily living such as grooming, dressing and bathing
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Mobility and transfers
  • Converse with clients/families with empathy and good listening skills
  • Light household duties such as cleaning, laundry and washing dishes
  • Provision of special functions that have been taught, with respect to the client by a regulated health professional
  • Take and record vitals such as body temperature and blood pressure
  • Reporting changes in client behavior and conditions
  • Documenting care and client/family preferences
  • Utilize the standards of hospice palliative care
  • Participate in case conferences, as required
  • Engage wards in physical and mental exercises and provide companionship during outdoor activities
  • Medication reminders as directed by the doctor.

At Steadfast Rehab Inc , Homecare services support people of all ages who require care in their home, Retirement Homes, Assisted living facility, Long term care and schools. Often, seniors and people with complex medical conditions can often stay in their own homes if they have some support.

We can help you arrange to have health professionals visit you in your home. Your healthcare provider can assess your needs, provide care or help you to care for yourself by providing following services

  • Physiotherapy – exercises, fall prevention program, pain relief, assessment of your mobility aids, safe transfer techniques and many
  • Caregivers – provide personal care and assist you with transfers.
